We get so upset when we fail to get the respect we deserve as a business owner, especially when we are first starting out. It can be offensive and frustrating when we hear people refer to our business as a hobby or something to just pass the time.
Here is the secret though: We can't expect others to respect our business unless we respect it ourselves. How we speak about or act toward our business in front of others speaks volumes about the kind of business we have. So respect your business and others will follow.
